Supporting regional funders group: WM Funders Network

Pauline uses her extensive strategic knowledge, networks and experience to serve on the Board of CIO WM Funders Network (WMFN) (formerly Charitable Trusts West Midlands), the regional funders network.

In 2015 then-CTWM celebrated the 40th anniversary of its establishment. Celebrations included an anniversary conference, West Midlands Funding 15. Ted Ryan designed the 40th anniversary logo and the logo for the conference.

Pauline works closely with the Secretary and other members of the Board to develop the network’s annual programme, which includes hosting prominent speakers on current affairs at the network’s annual conference for members and non-members.

Previous speakers at the annual WMFN conference include CEO of NCVO Sir Stuart Etherington, Official Reviewer of the Charities Act 2006 Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts, CEO of the Directory of Social Change (DSC) and first Chair of the Small Charities Coalition Debra Allcock-Tyler, Chief Executive of the Access Foundation Seb Elsworth

The 2018 annual WMFN conference was organised as part of the 1st National Conference on Data4Good in November 2018. During the conference WMFN held a specific, members-only, workshop for funders operating in the region. Full report here

The 2020 annual conference was a joint event with regional CVSs One Walsall and Sandwell SCVO, chaired by CEO of Small Charities Coalition Rita Chadha and featured Jane Ide, CE of NAVCA as keynote speaker. Report here
