Having written about the need for exploration events and hack days in our sector, we were delighted to work on this hack event organised by local social enterprise experts, i-SE as part of the 3rd annual Brum City Drive, celebrating Birmingham social enterprises.
1st Brum City Drive Hackathon, [WAKELET] sponsored by Wates Group (@WatesGroup), looked at hacking entrenched social challenges around the built environment and homelessness.
Facilitation
Facilitated by our Managing director Pauline Roche (@paulineroche), and enabled by i-SE CEO Sarah Crawley (@SarahCrawleyise), the event and the pre-event were held at Impact Hub Birmingham.
We were joined by subject matter experts Tony Bhajam (@TonyBhajam) of youth engagement agency Beatfreeks and Kathryn Lennon-Johnson (@BESSProgramme) from Built Environment Skills in Schools (BESS)
