– the largest measure of digital capability and skills for SMEs and charities. First published in 2014, it is the only measure of its kind. The Index uses a powerful and unique blend of transactional and attitudinal online data to benchmark digital skills and capability of UK organisations.

For the first time, the report brings to life a five year view of UK data, a spotlight on sole traders and future tech adoption.

The Index reports on the year on year results of the Basic Digital Skills measure for small businesses and charities, as well as reporting on the specific digital tasks.

Reference to a suite of tools and resources has also been included to help turn the insight into action; the Digital Knowhow toolkit endeavours to support greater digital usage and confidence for organisations across the UK.
